RANDI’S EGYPTIAN PROJECTS AND THEIR FACEBOOK NAME
1. Rise Up—Randi’s new English and German language school in Cairo with her partners Ehab Mohamed and Ahmed (Hitch) Mohamed. This school will provide a high quality education as well as demonstrate love and respect for its students. Sadly this center was forced to close due to the economic and political situation in Egypt.
2. World Peace Forest (Africa)—a project Randi is helping her Muslim Egyptian friend Max Hassouna complete that hopes to reforest needed areas in Egypt and Africa with the miracle tree the Moringa Oleifera tree by using international university students to do the actual planting of these amazing life-saving trees. His farm in Egypt is called the Jesus Moringa Farm which Max has willed to the Coptic Christian Church. This is another way Max hopes to demonstrate love and brotherhood to all people of different cultures and faiths.
3. 6 October Nursery (Egypt)– Randi’s new nursery for children ages 2 thru 5 with her partner Samar Farouk and her uncle. Randi will teach these young children English using her new nursery rhymes and children’s short stories written specifically for this group of children. This teaching will be conducted via Skype in Randi’s home in Georgia and a large TV screen at the school. A phonetics room is being created specifically for this instruction. The school opened but after less than one year was forced to close to a serious illness of Samar.
4. Africa Nomads Conservation (Kenya)–an environmental conservation organization based in Kenya with a focus to help the nomads and pastoral community as well as to improve the environment. It believes that improving the environment is the best tool to fight poverty and hunger.
